Post-Construction Cleaning

Post-Construction CleaningAfter completing your construction project, you will need post construction cleaning to remove away saw dust, dirt and debris.

Unlike everyday cleaning, it requires a lot of work to remove post-construction mess. Gathering all the necessary tools and materials is both time consuming and costly. There are floors, walls and ceilings to clean. Window sills, corners, cabinets, windows, etc., require great attention to detail. There’s paint and glue residue, dust, spider webs, dirty floors and carpets, bathroom fixtures, etc., all requiring specific cleaning agents and processes. Make the wise choice… call Unic Pro Inc!

We clean the ceiling first, then the walls and lastly the floor. First we remove hidden construction dust. Remove spider webs if there is any. Vacuum every inside the corners of the built-in cabinets, window sills, door frames and every hidden corner in the construction place. Wipe clean every window labels using alcohol and cloth. Chisel every unwanted glue leftovers. Scrub with water and cleaning solution every dry paint droplets in walls and ceilings. Wipe clean every bathroom and kitchen sinks. Use heavy duty carpet cleaning machines in carpeted rooms. Put all mess inside the trash containers. Mop the flooring afterwards. Work from one room to the next.

After we finished cleaning, inspect the rooms. Check every corner of the room. Remember, nothing pays more than by moving into a new and clean place.

A good post construction cleaning reflects a newly-built and clean building. Think about the benefits of a clean place in the first weeks of staying there.

How to Start Off The New Year

new yearAs the end of the year is quickly approaching we want to wish you the very best for a great and prosperous new year!! We thank all of our loyal and new customers for giving us the opportunity to work with you over the past year. Making your facilities safe and clean is what we are all about!

One of the best ways to ensure that 2018 will start off well is to reflect on the past year, determine goals and resolutions for the upcoming year and to make a to-do list. At Unicpro we recommend adding these to your list:

  1. Clear the clutter! From your home to your car, desk, closets, and facility, nothing quite kicks off the start of a new year like a nice neat space! Refreshing your workspace can lead to increased productivity and focus on the job while minimizing distractions.
  2. Reflect on the service your vendors provided -Were you 100% satisfied with the vendors you worked with? Was 2017 the cleanest year you’ve had at your facility? If not it may be time to look into bringing in a professional commercial cleaning company. If you already employ that type of service but it fell short the beginning of the year is a great time to reevaluate and gather competitive quotes.
  3. What was an area you would like to see improved cleanliness or safety? There is usually at least one area in every building that could use some improvement. Maybe it is the entryway that always seems to have a slippery spot, or that carpet that needs a bit of TLC. Whatever it is, identify that area and resolve to have it taken care of.
  4. Clean the lights and change the lightbulbs – Cleaning dirty lenses and lighting covers will brighten up any workspace and any displays you may have. A bright work area is important for safety and customer satisfaction.

Follow these tips to put your best foot forward in 2018. Wishing you a safe and clean New Year!!! If you are interested in having the cleanest facility this year then we look forward to the opportunity to work with you. For a free quote contact us at 877-881-8642
